Upload FilePlease read carefully file requirement before you design or upload your files.
Please note that the colors of graphics will vary slightly from your artwork colors on your monitor.
We print using our standard CMYK colors. There's some color difference between RGB and CMYK colors. Please be sure to design your artwork in CMYK colors for the best results.
We do not color match. Please contact us if you have any questions or need assistance.
We print on white media, so the back of all banners is white.
If your banner has a WHITE background, create a thin black border (0.05 inches in width) around the entire design for hemming purposes. (This applies only for VINYL banners. Please don't do this for FABRIC banners.)
We only use Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop to open your files. (version CS4)
You can use any other program but please save your file in one of the following file formats.
VECTOR Format Designs (Adobe Illustrator CS4 or lower)
*Design your artwork in CMYK colors. (not RGB)
*Your Entire Design must be inside of your banner design box. Remove all visible or invisible objects that are outside of the box.
*Convert All Fonts and Strokes to Outlines, Curves, or Paths.
*SAVE your file as .AI or .EPS
*DO NOT SAVE Vector Format files as .TIF
*Any embedded .TIF, .PSD or other bitmap must be sent as well if to be included in your design.
*Vector format in any size is accepted. We can make it as large as you want. (Only Vector format)
BITMAT (Raster) Format Designs (Adobe Photoshop CS4 or lower)
*Design your banner in CMYK colors (not RGB).
*Design Bitmap Images (photos, 4-color images or Raster Artwork) in the ACTUAL SIZE (size you want us to print your banner).
*The resolution of ACTUAL SIZE has to be 100-120 dpi. If actual size is too big to work with your computer, reduce your image size by 50% and increase resolution to 240 dpi or higher. (When you reduce by 1/3, resolution should be 300 ~ 400 dpi)
*This type of artwork is based on pixels. It is important that if we are creating a large sign that the artwork is equally as large. Just scaling a smaller image to make it larger will simply make the image fuzzy and pixilated.
*SAVE your file as Either a TIFF ,JPEG with no compression or PSD.
*Do not RESIZE lower resolution files to a higher resolution.
*Please submit your graphic before 3:00PM Pacific Standard Time as you place your order to avoid any Delays in your Turnaround time.
*Don't forget to Outline all Fonts / Link all Images / Flatten your files
Thumbnail files such as jpg, gif, or png that are small in file size CANNOT be printed at high quality due to pixel limitations. Images pulled off of websites are generally very low quality. Make sure your file is created at a high resolution.
File Mode All graphics should be designed in CMYK, Not RGB, or Pantone. Converting NON-CMYK files to CMYK will result in color shifts or degradation. File Resolution JPEG or PSD format (Using Adobe Photoshop CS 5 or lower) Make sure the dimensions are what your gaphic needs to be (a 5 feet by 5 feet banner needs to be 60 inches by 60 inches in dimension) 100% Scale at 100-150 dpi (Best) 50% Scale at 200 dpi or higher (Better) 25% Scale at 300 dpi or higher (good) Do Not RESIZE lower resolution files to a higher resolution. Save your file as either a TIFF, JPEG with no compression, or PSD.
Vector format (Using Adobe Illustrator CS 5 or lower) We accept any sizes of vector format which we can blow up to any size. Prepare your logo or line based objects as a vector format. Convert All Fonts and Strokes to Outlined, Curves, or Paths. Save your files as AI or EPS.-Do Not save Vector format files as TIFF. *Do not embed placed files, images, or color profiles in placed images or Photoshop files. *Any embedded TIF, PSD or other bitmap must be sent as well if you need it to be included in your design. *Include a layered file and a flat file. This way we can make any small changes if necessary. Other Tips *Tips for Rich BLACK color, we advise you to use C-60 M-40 Y-40 K-100. *How can I tell that my file is print-ready? In Photoshop, check your image size and make sure it is at the dimensions you need it (in inches), then view your file at 100%. You can see how your artwork will look when printed. See the example.
To avoid pixelization, check your file in 100% scale (full size) and compare clarity to Example A shown above. *You can buy good resolution pictures at stock photo sites such as fotolia.com, istockphoto.com. File Size Double check your graphic dimension to make sure it matches the product you are ordering. Make your file at viewable size. You don't need to include any bleed. Place any important element of your image within the safe zone (avoid finishing line). Color Match We Do Not match PMS colors with CMYK colors. Artwork submissions with specific PMS colors will automatically be converted to CMYK. If your job is color sensitive, please contact us first. We will put our best effort into matching the requested PMS colors (It applies to Vector File only.) , but we cannot GUARANTEE a 100% exact match. |
